This summer has been filled with many boring and exciting moments. Being from a tiny town and coming home for the summer causes the boredom to set in and the desire to go somewhere new for an adventure. With all the time spent on my summer class and this horrible hot and cold weather, I ventured out to a few different places to create some summer memories that were not so boring.
Baby Tigers, need I say more? If you haven't heard about it, google it now and go as soon as you can! In Charlestown, IN is a wonderful place called Wild Life in Need. While here you get to play with baby tiger cubs and more exotic animals friends. Why in the world would you not want to experience this?! Tickets can be purchased through their Facebook page at the link below and here are some pictures from my time with these adorable creatures.

Another adventure, was judging the Clark County Baby Shows and Pre-Teen Pageant! Being a pageant contestant for most of life made me think judging would be a piece of cake, but you really can never be prepared enough! The little girls and boys from the baby shows were adorable making it so hard to pick a winner! The Pre-Teen competition was tough too since these little cuties had to complete an interview as well. Ultimately, we submitted our scores not knowing who in the world would win, but I think you will have to agree that the Miss Pre-Teen Clark County Fair is ADORABLE! Thanks so much for the pageant board for asking me to judge!

The last and most exciting thing that I do every summer is watch the Miss Kentucky's Outstanding Teen and Miss Kentucky Pageant. I competed in this wonderful system for 2 years (miss) and several years in the teen and who know's I might decide to try again! :) Each and every year including the year's I competed I am blown away by the intelligence, poise and talent of every contestant. This years MKOT winner is Alex Francke. She looked breathtaking in her blue evening gown as she graced the stage and I know she will be great at MAOT! The Miss Kentucky Pageant was so very exciting! This year Ramsey Carpenter won, her last year of eligibility and she is going to be fantastic at Miss America! She plays the fiddle, is beautiful and has such a wonderful platform concerning multiple sclerosis because she lives with it every single day. She will be the only fiddle player at Miss America and with a platform as personal as hers, who knows she might bring home the Miss America crown! I was also able to see some of my dearest friends from the Miss Kentucky system and it was wonderful catching up and seeing old faces! Congrats to all the girls who competed this year, everyone did an outstanding job!
